Run button is needed to allow incoming connections from e-mail clients. If this button is switched off, then e-mail clients can't connect to the program and it doesn't work as a POP3 relay.
Stop accept button turns off Run button and stops any incoming connections from e-mail clients. In unregistered mode this button is automatically pushed by the program every 30 minutes. You have to click Run button again to allow incoming connections. Once you register the program, you can run the program unattended.
Kill all current button turns off Run button just like Stop accept, and it also breaks all running POP3 sessions. If you terminated the POP3 connection this way, then POP3 protocol was not finished correctly [with QUIT command], which might cause the e-mail client would again load the same e-mail messages from the server (in the case any of them doesn't support UIDL command). This button is disabled in unregistered mode.
Settings button brings up the settings window where you can change any of the settings used to control program's behavior.
Hide to tray is needed to minimize the program to the system tray: area near by the system clock. By clicking with left or right mouse button the program's tray icon, you can restore its main window.
